Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Backstage Dance Studio. These Terms of Service outline the rules, policies, and conditions governing the use of our facilities, services, classes, and events. By enrolling in classes, booking studio rentals, or participating in any activity organized by Backstage Dance Studio, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Backstage Dance Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

3. Registration and Enrollment

3.1 Clients must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
3.2 Clients under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3.3 Backstage Dance Studio reserves the right to deny enrollment or participation to any individual if deemed necessary for the safety, operations, or community standards of the studio.

4. Payments and Fees

4.1 All class fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the class.
4.2 Studio rental reservations require a deposit to secure the booking. Pencil reservations will not be accepted.
4.3 Unless otherwise stated, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where the class or booking is cancelled by Backstage Dance Studio.

5. Class Registration Policy

5.1 Class registrations are non-refundable once confirmed.
5.2 If a student is unable to attend a booked class, the registration may be credited to another class provided the studio is informed at least three (3) hours before the scheduled class time.
5.3 Credited classes must be used within the next or the following week’s class schedule. Unused credits beyond this period will be forfeited.
5.4 Failure to attend a class without prior notice will result in the class being considered consumed.

6. Studio Rental Policy

6.1 Studio rental reservations are non-refundable once confirmed.
6.2 Rental bookings may be transferred or rescheduled once, provided the request is made at least one (1) day before the scheduled booking.
6.3 Renters who exceed their designated booking time will be charged an overtime fee, particularly if another renter is scheduled after their session.

7. Studio Conduct and Community Standards

7.1 All clients are expected to maintain respectful behavior that promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment.
7.2 Disruptive behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any form will not be tolerated.
7.3 Backstage Dance Studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct negatively affects the studio environment.

8. Use of Studio Facilities

8.1 Students and renters must treat all studio facilities, equipment, and spaces with care.
8.2 Clients must observe Clean As You Go (CLAYGO) practices while using the studio.
8.3 Backstage Dance Studio is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen items within the premises.

9. External Classes and Commercial Use

Backstage Dance Studio operates as a commercial dance class facility. To protect the studio’s programs and services, the studio cannot be rented for independently organized paid classes. All dance classes conducted in the studio must be coordinated and managed through Backstage Dance Studio.

10. Liability Waiver

10.1 Participation in dance classes and physical activities involves inherent risks of injury.
10.2 By enrolling or participating, students and their legal guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.
10.3 Backstage Dance Studio shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during participation in studio activities.

11. Termination of Services

Backstage Dance Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for individuals who violate these Terms or whose behavior is deemed harmful to the studio community or operations.

12. Changes to Terms

Backstage Dance Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will take effect immediately upon publication.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you agree to these Terms of Service as of your first use of Backstage Dance Studio services.
